Community Resilience Plan (CRP): Al-Wasat Sub-district, Abs, Hajjah

Jan 19, 2022

The Community Resilience Plan (CRP) reflects both community and local authority needs, priorities and solutions. Prepared in participatory manner, the CRP assesses the status of public services, infrastructure, livelihood opportunities and the effects of the current crisis on them, as well as coping mechanisms – both negative and positive – adopted to survive and overcome the ongoing crises. Within the CRP, community-led initiatives are prioritized to improve access to public services and provide space for humanitarian and development partners to scale up small-scale rehabilitation and recovery efforts. It can also be used as a participatory tool and document to be referred to as the Humanitarian and Development Needs Overview (HDNO).

This Plan was prepared by members of the Development Committee in the Al-Wasat sub-district in Hajjah governorate with technical support and facilitation from the Social Fund for Development (SFD) within the Supporting Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security in Yemen Joint Programme (ERRY II). It was generously co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
