Stakeholders and practitioners validate the national biodiversity strategy and plan

Sana’a, 22 December 2015 - In partnership with UNDP and Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) developed the second National Biodiversity and Action Plan (NBSAP2) committed under the Convention of Biological Diversity (CBD). The strategy and its action plan focuses on achieving a resilient, productive and sustainable socio-ecosystem by 2050.

Sana’a, 15 November 2015 -- In partnership with SMEPS, UNDP conducted in August 2015 a rapid business assessment in six governorates to examine the impact of the crisis on business activity. The assessment was carried in Sanaa, Hajjah, Sa'ada, Taizz, Aden and Abyan Governorates, providing insights on the extent of damages and loss incurred by the private sector.
