In its Transitional Programme for Stabilization and Development (TPSD) the Government of Yemen highlighted the need for “economic recovery, stabilization, and growth foundations” and the need to “Assist IDPs and expand humanitarian efforts to cover affected groups in all regions” in parallel to a political process for all populations in Yemen, in order to address the root causes of the 2011 uprising. We aim to support of the Government of Yemen to ensure ‘recovery’ of post-conflict of populations and communities, in the north and south, to a level where they can mainstream into the national development program, post transition.More

  • Strengthening National Capacity for Mine Action in Yemen - Phase IV

    The project aims to assist the Government of Yemen to effectively deal with the humanitarian and developmental problems of mines, Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and the new threat from Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)more
